My name is Sarah Bogue, I'm 26 years old and I live in North Vancouber, BC, Canada. I have been into fitness for a couple years but just recently have decided to take my training to the next level and am currently training to compete in my first bikini and power lifting competition early next year. I am a super active person, so when I'm not in the gym, you can find me taking advantage of all the great outdoor activities Vancouver has to offer, such as hiking, snowboarding, running or biking. If the weather is keeping me from getting outside, you can usually find me in the kitchen cooking, baking or recipe testing. Fitness and cooking are definitely my two main passions in life.
I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer at Gold's Gym and a full-time Kinesiology undergraduate student. My competition history includes the Kelowna Classic 2016, which I won first and overall in bikini, BC Cup 2016, which I won first for bikini in my height class, and the Muscle Insider Model Search 2016 held at the Vancouver Pro Show where I won an amazing opportunity to shoot with professional photographers and be featured in the October/November issue of Muscle Insider Magazine! I grew up with an intense passion for fitness and sports, including rugby and boxing. I discovered my calling for the physical art of bodybuilding, which came with the underlying importance of nutrition. Ensuring we feed our bodies quality nutrients is fundamental to reaching our fitness goals- that's why I'm excited to be a part of the #eatcleantraindirty Proatein Bar team!
Jess began her journey with fitness over ten years ago and each year her passion for this lifestyle grows with intensity. She recently began competing in the bikini division of the CBBF and will be representing BC at Nationals in 2017. Last year she started using social media to share her love for passion through motivational posts, workout videos and dietary tips. She is quirky, weird, and has no desire to be ordinary. Oh and she loves her PrOATein bars.
Lifestyle: I enjoy living a healthy and active lifestyle. My journey all began from the age 11 when I was overweight. I knew i had to make the change to better myself from the inside-out. When you look good, you feel good. The fit life has taught me more mentally and physically than anyone else could. Nothing beats a healthy soul, body, and mind. What you are and want is what you attract, so make it good!
I am a National Bikini Competitor, personal trainer and contest prep coach. I started competing in the OPA in 2014 and stepped on the National stage in 2016. I love the sport of bodybuilding and enjoy helping others with the process as well. Alongside bodybuilding, I have been a dancer my entire life and am a former pro CFL Cheerleader with the Hamilton Tiger Cats. I have a college diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion and will be soon obtaining my Honours Degree in Applied Science in Kinesiology. I am very passionate about fitness, bodybuilding and helping others. I love food, cats, makeup, Netflix and lifting weights.
